A winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect from 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM PST Saturday. * Timing Peak snowfall this afternoon through Saturday morning * accumulation/snow levels ... Snow levels will lower to around 1000 to 1500 feet tonight. Snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected by Saturday afternoon with the higher amounts in the south Washington Cascade foothills and northern Oregon Cascade foothills. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you must travel ... Keep an extra flashlight ... Food ... And water in your vehicle in case of an emergency."
For all teams scheduled to travel to Bend and play tomorrow, understand Angela thinks the roads will be "Just Fine". Not really sure what part of only travel in an emergency she doesn't get...Hopefully everyone stays safe.
