1. Eugene Metros are not a youth club/academy of Lane United - at all.
2. I know this may surprise you but Galas is allowed to be a coach AND a dad, and if he and his son think OPFC is a better fit than Metros and are willing to make that drive, more power to them.
3. Looking at the roster for Lane U - which appears to be almost exclusively college kids and Metros HS kids (and who knows if the high school kids will play later on, with other college kids are showing up in the next few weeks), I don't see any players (other than Galas' kid, apparently) who play for OPFC...but I do see one Eugene kid who plays for United PDX, so maybe save your outrage for that? Just an idea.
