John Galas taking talent from Eugene Metro to OPFC

John Galas--who is the sporting director and head coach of Lane United FC, projected USL League 1 team based in Eugene-- has recently started taking talent from his supposed youth club and academy, Eugene Metro FC, to Oregon Premier FC. It would be good to know what OYSA thinks about this behavior.

OPFC is a better club, but not worth a 200 mile round trip to training better.

That said, I thought emfc and Lane United were separate.

To clarify opfc is not a club, since they waive coming to train for out of towners. See Bend players for example. Instead they offer privates on demand.

What does Lane United FC have to do with this. Are you saying John is recruiting players from EUFC to OPFC? Does John now coach at OPFC

Color me surprised. Some **** stinks and OPFC‘s name is involved. Shocking.

Color me surprised someone posts some random sh it and people believe it. There’s like one person with an ax to grind, they are bored and their usual bs wasn’t working anymore so they just created a different way to lie to you.

Nothing that gets posted here is true unless there’s links or scores to back it up. I’m sorry you fell for your confirmation bias again.

Totally deplorable. No coach should be suggesting players for their club play at other clubs (unless that club is in Guadalajara and then nothing to see here, move along, forget it was mentioned, totally normal what’s happening here, we didn’t go to that tournament just for that one kid)

This site is such b.s. should be shut down

This is funny, OYSA would say nothing if a coach at their club asked players to go another club. Sounds like he found a good solution. Good job John

I'm not sure what you are talking about... But there's a big difference between a youth coach recommending a player to a professional academy, and suggesting a player leave a club to join a rival youth club, particularly a peer club that competes on the same level.

Yeah, you don’t know what I’m talking about, and you don’t know what you are talking about. Maybe don’t comment on **** you don’t know anything about.

Don't be so mysterious! Did some coach haul his entire team down to Guadalajara for the benefit of one player? The obvious suspect just threepeated as State Cup champs, but is not one of the clubs mentioned in this thread.

I heard OPFC and UDIX both jumped at the chance to pitch Wrexham owners the idea of being feeder clubs while Wrrxham is in the states.

Sorry, never heard of John Galas is he a former Lake Oswego or West Linn/Wilsonville recreational or classic coach?

So you are saying his son is a winner. Got it.
