How about a college coach texting your individual player in their sophomore year as it is happening right now around the country.
Do you think that some parents aren’t even close to be involved and their kid is the one that is doing all the communication. More than you know.

if there ever was a sus text like what are you doing tonight or some bs like that I’d be weary but that’s why I’m involved in his life so I can know these things.

I can tell you right now there is no rules when it comes to football recruitment as my son has coaches texting him since freshman year including his HS coach. Am I worried? Hell no.

Will anyone who knows what the text was about say what was inappropriate about it? Was it simply texting without the parent on the thread? was it gossiping, reprimanding, soliciting a minor - I don't need/want to know the exact verbage but just what was it about?
