Bridge City is a landing spot for soccer elitists who know more about soccer than rest of us. Most of their players are castoffs from ECNL programs who are holding onto the belief that GA is on par with ECNL.

Regarding the latter part of that post. That is certainly a negative way of stating it, but even if you are correct--players are castoffs from ECNL--it does not mean it is a bad option over playing on an ECRL or other team.
This is not aimed at the OP, but for others looking, if you're kid is not ECNL level then I would not discount Bridge City or other GA teams. I would say that GA in the Pac NW is akin to ECRL quality teams. Since this is all anonymous, I will admit that my daughter is not likely ready for ECNL and likely would be on an ECRL team. She has markedly improved at BCSA. I am very happy with the coaching on the club's top tier teams at her age group. I am a parent that has had kids at THUSC/NWE and FC Portland in the past, so I would not say I am a newbie.
Also, while there is travel with GA, it is not as much as ECNL, so that may be a thing that some care about.

Make your decision based upon spending time with the teams/coaches/clubs/parents. People on this forum are wildly negative about everything.

They still have good players remaining and Internationally known Tiffeny Milbrett is now coaching them. TV Thorns 06 picked up some players. This year coming is a new year, they both will be competitive. I have heard WA Timbers 06 is competitive too. Would be fun for NW Elite and Thorns teams to play Girls Academy WA Timbers 06 out of league and for that matter United Portland’s ECNL-R 06 team this coming year! Thorns played US Youth Soccer OYSA Eastside Timbers teams last year as well as some age groups played Girl’s Academy Reign teams and crushed them all, from what I heard.

And they picked up the 05 player last year who is actually an 06 and was the Thorns 05 team’s top goal scorer. Would love to see these these three 06 teams in a round robin season warm up battle!!
Just my opinion but we don’t stand a chance against Washington, can’t stop their scorers but came away from playing the thorns thinking we were competitive.

And once again this thread has gone from one of actual feedback that could help the original poster, into a turf war. Bummer we can't stay on topic and actually help the person out.
