      And to note:

Grant had more over all points but only had 1 first place vote and Lincoln and Jesuit had 3 each .

Exactly. The season will play out the way it plays out.

La Salle seem to have their number

LaSalle had 2 or 3 shots and one went in. Jesuit had 10 + and 1 went in.

Did you mean whiskey shots? That would explain all the stumbling around on the field.

And yet Jesuit is the #1 team in the coaches ranking? Course it helps beating up on a depleted West Linn. Wait til League is almost over, then we will know who is good and who is not. Hell, Sherwood is listed as #1 right now!

The rankings outside of pre season are an algorithm…they only are effective with data, and 2 or 3 games is not enough data. Relax, chill…things will come into alignment and the teams that are dominated with UPDX, OPFC, Academy Departures, FC, and PCU top team players will rise to the top of the rankings.

Westside's players are spread all around the metro area, FWIW--there's no school with more than a handful of WSM players.

What's the scoop with West Linn's defense? Saw they lost 0-7 to Jesuit - are they really that bad or just an off day?

They are very young and inexperienced.
