      Probably a typo by Lyso

the losers are the folks who don’t understand how emails can have attachments

ODP is absolutely not worth it. The cost vs benefit makes zero sense. The program has nothing to do with the Olympics or USMNT, It is a fundraiser, nothing more.

Olympic Development Program? Or...... Obsolete Development Program?

7 teams and 11 kids chosen. 1.57 kids per team. If you take out 2009, it's barely over 1 kid per team.

                  The cost?

it’s so cheap for extra training and more competitive than many club team practices .

Cheap? Flying around the country for 3 days of training at your expense? Air, car rental, hotel and food are not cheap these days. Let alone time off work etc.

Several (5) 2008 were offered positions but are not able as they are in the Timbers academy now.

Check the list from last year and you would see who.

But that's the case for every state that has mls next (not just academies btw).

Very true that some OR players are listed as WA. Also some WA kids are incorrectly assigned to other states. Some kids are on the list that bypassed West Region ODP pool (they weren’t there but somehow get to skip the line). I’m not knocking the players- its USYS ODPs fault for falsely advertising they have 18 spots (for older groups) when kids are already chosen.
