Although these cases can be time consuming and costly for the plaintiff they are costly for the defendant as well.

I have emailed Alex to inform him of this thread and have offered my assistance as an attorney with the caveat being that I will work pro bono for him if the accusations made are untrue.

What Alex is doing and OPFC is allowing him to do is unethical. And we are talking about kids. Plus if you’re a lawyer and want to work for for him for free out of the goodness of your heart you noble person you, take care of his business registration paperwork for him so he no longer has to be criticized and be exposed because he let his business license lapse.

        Loser.

It's amazing. Club Zero has gone from "anyone who criticizes our club has a small penis" to "we're gonna SUE!!!!!!!!!"

          Stay classy.

Has anyone ever felt pressure or know someone who has been pressured by an LOSC, WUSC or OPFC coach or staff member to train with PDX FA? Have coaches promoted Alex’s services to any families or players?

No other club in the state gets even have the "love" given to them and I think I dig it. This guy is so worked up that for months he has been here on multiple threads spewing BS against OPFC, EAL, travel soccer and soccer in general in Oregon. He really is a great guy though. Fun to be around. Mostly positive when talking things not OPFC "club zero"... Haha.

Little dick- I love you man. I really do. But you need to grow past the part of your life where OPFC spurned you. It is OK to move on. Get a life and make friends.

Alex does this to make money on the side. In addition to the peanuts he makes through OPFC. He is exercising his right to do business and use his expertise to build an "academy" for kids to practice at once a week with kids not just from OPFC but from many teams in Portland as well as a few boys from the Timbers Academy. It really is a great idea and I am sure a number of coaches are bummed they didn't think of it first. This is the first time I have seen a coach reach across and have so many kids from other teams participate in training like this, this size. He is doing something right.

                Don't hate the player....
Actually, a lot of coaches have wanted to start their own training side business. This is a logical next step for any coach who wants to make some extra money. But virtually every club forbids this. Too much potential for conflict of interest. Our coach at my kids’ club told us bluntly that he isn’t allowed to do so.

Alex didn’t exactly come up with a novel idea. He was just allowed to do it and I can’t imagine why an exception would be made. Checking previous posts, the timing of the articles of incorporation make it seem like the idea was hatched during Covid and maybe at that time local soccer coaches and staff weren’t paid (although the previous mention of quarter-million $ PPP and likely EIDL loans paints a different picture) due to shutdown of the soccer clubs. However, once that was over, he should not have been allowed to continue. You don’t have to know soccer or be a lawyer to know that there is a blatant conflict of interest here. And it is a fact that the large majority of PDX FA clients are LOSC, WUSC and OPFC players. It’s not even close.

Details are important, fellow esquire. No one accused or slandered Alex H. Actually, the only accusations of illegal activity have been directed at ADF and OPFC. Additionally, if you are a veteran of this forum/site, you would know that there are way worse accusations made & of anything crossed the line or was construed as defamatory, the first and immediate course of action after a report was submitted to the site admins would be manual removal of the entire post.

All that being said, I find it quite admirable of you to scour obscure soccer chat threads during work hours to offer help to random soccer figures in the area whose business practices and ethics are being questioned.

What is your name, by the way? And which firm do you work for?

That is the point. Alex is making money the best way he knows how and that is through training soccer. He has no other skill and some would say that he is not very skilled in coaching.
