If you think that exposing a story to a bunch of viewers on television, the vast majority of which do not live in Oregon, is meaningful, you're as realistic as Paul. This forum, for those interested in soccer, has had nearly 10,500 views since this thread started. That the Portland Timbers can invest millions of dollars in the field development at THPRD and get use of the fields. Seems like a pretty shady deal when the invest millions and don't own any of the land. MP

Other than the Timbers Locker rooms-offices and THPRD's maint. and some of its planning dept the building sits empty.. Of the 80-90,000 square feet the Timbers take up about approx. 5,000 sq ft THPRD uses maybe 10-15k sq ft. so 60-70,000 square feet is empty

Its a boondoggle of Biblical proportions.
