Aloha is not a new club.

In addition to Aloha there are other clubs that service kids in the Beaverton area that are not able to rent fields from THPRD.

This list of clubs include FC Portland.

FC Portland is located in Hillsboro. That is why they developed fields, through raw labor and otherwise, at Hillsboro High School. Liberty High School and Hillsboro Stadium, are also in Hillsboro. THPRD is Beaverton, in general, not Hillsboro. Try to know something before you post.

I apologize for what will likely seem a stupid question. The reply above implies THPRD serves Beaverton. Looking at the attached map though, the borders are much less clear. It appears THPRD stretches from Tigard, to some portions of Hillsboro. North to include a good portion North of 26. It is not a Beaverton exclusive.
The fields of THPRD are a public good. They belong to the public. It is basic haves vs have nots. The solution is simple,everyone act like a normal club, that isn't too much to ask is it?

If you look at the map carefully the boundaries just end at the beginnings Tigard, (Scholls Ferry Rd) and Hillsboro, (Cornelius Pass Rd.) None of THPRD appears to go into either the city of Tigard or Hillsboro. If you have any thoughts about this, please let me look it up for you. Thanks.

Just trying to separate the emotion from the logic. It was useful to see the overlay of where THPRD's jurisdiction exists. This whole discussion seems to be based in a spat between WS and Aloha. While I am only looking at a map, it certainly appears Aloha exists between 170th and Corneilus Pass. Wouldn't this place them in the served jurisdiction area?

The spat on this blog resulted from the news story, but the abuse from WS started over a couple years ago as their influence grew (conflicts of interest, paying people off). WS has been trying to take control field access through intimidation, and putting people in position to influence access. The problem is longstanding and needs to be addressed.
