I see the cuts at the WST, but I have to tell you I am not seeing the consolidation you are talking about. I agree with the previous poster, why didn't Rage take some guest players this weekend from Rage? FWRL, will be great and a consideration,but it looks to me like you may end up the third/fourth team in Oregon due to players NOT coming your way? I am not sure people are afraid of a good thing as much as they are thinking you won't have anything better.

How did the teams with the Usonian guests do this weekend?

Well rage didn't have any based on above. I doubt the Vancouver teams had any and I'm sure onyx didn't have guests.

I would not say "pretty sad" Onyx is a very solid team. It is not a slight on the other U15 teams when a team like Onyx wins.

I am in agreement here. The only way to compete with Onyx is for the U15G to consolidate.Pretty sad for Oregon's U15G soccer.

Why does everyone put so much emphasis on summer tournaments? I know for our team we were missing 4 defenders and we had girls playing defense who have never played there before. Half our A team was missing and we pulled from our B team and had our U14s playing too. Summertime is a dumb time to start judging team strength when half the girls are on vacation.

And which team would you be from? All the teams I saw had their regular players plus some quality guest players. At this age summertime is a great time to judge seems how try outs are right around the corner.

actually the team manager and hubby are the worst. they helped kick out the original coach and wanted Kony to step in...we all know how that went. Now everyone wants to leave because of Kony.

Then you did not see all the teams. No summer time is not a good time to judge all teams unless you know for a fact all players are present and the tournament has high value, which sorry the LO tourney does not for most local teams.

I didn't mean to knock Onyx at all. They are an extremely talented team and deserved every win they got. All I was saying is that we need stronger U15 teams.

Then why don't you step up and manage the team instead of complaining and and telling us how great your daughter is.
