I say FC and Rage/Usonians have and will gain the most. (I predict a merger.) OSSA continues to struggle. Valencia loses a few. and Iridium stays about the same.
This is the age where we see real separation and sadly I think it will come down to three teams without a whole lot of competition.

This may be a record for this age group not talking. And I guess with most of the local tournaments still a couple weeks away or more, there is no reason for any smack talk yet. This is boring.
Everyone post an essay about their summer vacation so far. You know, trips to the Grand Canyon, wakeboarding on the river, science camp, .... ;-).

Earned some respect!
The most under rated team has to be the E-Timbers Valencia.
They came on strong at the end of the season to make the Cup finals and gave it a good shot.
This team has steadily improved year to year and if they keep on the same trajectory could prove to be a handful.
I've heard they picked up some players from across the river giving them some much needed size and speed. In talking with a CP their recruiting phone has been ringing too. Looks like they've held their own playing in the HS divisions of their tourney and the Clash at the border.
A team to not take lightly? (and no I'm not a Valencia parent - just respect what they've been doing)

Not sure what was really intended by this post? I guess I'll just say, "We'll be on the lookout for them. And thanks for the update."
Do you need a special number for a Recruting Phone? Is that anything like an iPhone or an Android?

Since when is holding your own in the Silver division of a HS age group of a lousy tournament something to crow about? Sure they beat teams of older players, but those teams were barely better than rec. teams. I would not put those results up as something for other teams to watch out for.

I do have to say since they have reclaimed some of their correctly aged players, Valencia has become a better overall team. In years past they played more with brute strength then skill. Not so much any more.

For those interested in the Gothia Cup, which is currently going on as we speak, Crossfire, who won their way over there from Nike, won their first game 8-0. There are a handful of other US teams, who are having mixed results (some winning 2 or 3 to nothing, others losing by similar margins). Most of the brackets have 3 Swedish teams and one foreign team in it. 27 brackets, 110 teams total at U-15. There are brackets as young as U11 for boys, U12 for girls. Some adventerous US teams at those age brackets are there (going to Sweden at 12 to play in a soccer tournament - you make the call but I would want at least a four game minimum ; - ) ).
I didn't count, but I would guess there are as many as 700+ teams in that tournament across the age groups. Maybe more. The brackets are huge for the largest age groups. I can only imagine the logistics of all of it.
