I've seen every team that you're talking about and simply disagree. The beautiful thing is we'll never know, boys or girls. Thank you OYSA and OPL.

Don't know much about U16 Rush except that they have some very talented players. Could be third/fourth; could be first if OSSA/THUSC play like they did Sat.
In an Ireland/OJB winner v. OPL match at U17, I'm taking Ireland/OJB. One loss doesn't reduce their quality.
U18 OYSA winner will be very strong. Many of the stronger girls didn't play in OPL.
No matter - all just speculation.

The Oregon Rush U16 team might be as good as OSSA and THUSC but they rarely play in-state opponents so it's hard to say. When Oregon Rush travels to out of state tournaments they often have other Rush program players guesting with them (one would assume the better players from other Rush teams), so that doesn't give a true indication of how good they are either. Glad they will likely be representing Oregon at regionals though.

                    How Stupid is this!

Is there anything more stooooooopid than arguing over which organization "teams" are better in a state the size of Oregon.

Seriously the boys at the OPC need to grow up and take the offer from OYSA before they forever fracture Oregon soccer.

Please please please grow up and think of the kids rather than your individual clubs and employment!

Better solution is oysa bowing out of competitive soccer for good.

that is never going to happen as they are affiliated with USYSA.
As soon as they lose that affliation then yes OYSA would have to be out. But until then OYSA will still be part of the competitive landscape. Lacking in quality yes

OPL is able to apply for their USYSA affiliation, as of last year. Unless OPL changes their structure and higher on full time admin, I don't think they want OYSA to leave. OYSA will stay, but change.

How difficult is it for us to understand that GW and affiliated clubs know what is best for competetive youth soccer in this state? Get in the way and there will be hell to pay.
