That is the whole issue. Tax payers are putting a lot of money into this new Timbers complex. THPRD has already shown strong bias for WSM and Westside Warriors through field allocations.

So Beaverton THPRD residents are essentially paying for fields for WSM and Westside warriors.

Just look at it.... WSM pays Denny Doyle. This Bill Kanable is on the boards of both WSM and Westside warriors, as well as THPRD and THJSL. He is also the fields coordinator.

There is a lot of shady activity going on at the tax payers expense.

Now that the Timbers have chosen WSM as the affiliated club, the next step for THPRD is to have an affiliated soccer club within the district. my gut feeling is that WSM will be chosen, forcing the other clubs to be under WSM. Just like what happened with other sports like lacrosse in the district.

When I read a post like this I just Thank the Good Lord that this country has a Constitution.. And that we live in a Democracy

THPRD has done this already to other sports. This is not new. They are very unique in that they can say who and who cannot use the fields. Soccer is next. Talk to the lacrosse people and what they went through with THPRD. In the end, THPRD wins always.

Not true! They are publicly funded meaning they cannot discriminate under any circumstances. I am not sure of the lacrosse situation, but if THPRD was found to be discriminatory against one organization and did not provide fair and equal access to field time, then they are exposing themselves to potential lawsuit and loss of their non-profit status. This is the whole reason why apologies had to be sent out as a result of certain rumors. I don't wish to rehash this, but THPRD is very well aware that they must allow equal access to fields. This includes existing properties they manage and any future properties. Otherwise they could not manage them.

You shouldn't assume that because the lacrosse org/team wasn't smart enough to stand up for their rights that the teams/clubs/orgs not getting access to fields currently wont be put up a HELL of Fight...

I think its fair to say that they look to me anyway to be more than ready to mount a political clash and if necessary a legal one... I hope WSM understands this point ... They are not in the best of positions on this one but if they think they are well then that's why we play the game ...to determine the winner

I think someone at the last THJSL meeting had the tax returns for WSM and both Denny and Bill were listed on their returns as members of the board.. Wavy Davy said Denny and this is a quote "Was just on there as a Figure Head" The guy from Aloha just looked at him and said something about "who puts someone on their tax returns as figure head?"

I didnt hear his complete remark but it was something to that effect... Everyone in there had a look on there faces that just seemed at least to me to say "Can't you come up with a better story than that?" I dont know it just seemed a really strange answer to real simple question
