I read below and thought it was 'funny' and 'sad' at the same time.

    Every club has a mantra What's THUSC's?

Most important where will they end up after the days of using THPRD are over?

What people don't realize or even understand is THUSC was once the king of youth soccer on the boys side of things in the late 80's and early 90's. WSM moved in to the same back yard and they(WSM) rapidly rose became the club of choice for the area and rose to prominence on both the boys and girls side

. A new DOC moved into thusc in the early part of the 2000's realized he had no pipeline for players or stable of quality players in his barn and did what what he thought would work given his dire situation, recruit, recruit, recruit.

Even taking fully formed teams with their coach from another club.

So be it recruiting has changed the shell that was thusc and turned into what it is today.

No club has worked at recruiting like thusc for girls aged 12 to 18 in Oregon History...short term gains with the consequence of a long term reputation..
