My daughter starts most games and plays between half to 2/3rd of a game. So a little harder decision. If she was getting no playing time then I would for sure move her. The reality on her team is they have 18 solid players (the B team even has some players that could play on the A team) and although my daughter starts, there isn't much drop off when the subs come in (and unfortunately she is not a player who makes such an impact she plays 80% of the time).
I actaully feel for the coach who probably gets second guessed all the time. The real problem I personally have is bringing in more players (and to me they didn't add much to the team).
I'm really not a disgruntled parent, just got caught up into this because I hate an 18 player roster for U12 girls. My girl (as others) could play the whole game with little to no drop off if she got the opportunity (she has had in a couple of games)
We were told that it will be different in State Cup and I actually think my daughter will get lots of PT then (could be in for a surprise). But whatever happens, my little input after a year is 18 is too many for U12. Let's see if I think the same thing at u13 . . .
