Come on people where are the u13 crazy parents. No bashing Onyx? I'm taking LO over Onyx 3-2!! Not sure how but it is going to happen. Someday.

I think LO has a shot also. I think they are the second best team for sure but it might be a little early for that upset. 2-5 in this division should be interesting.

I think there isn't much U13 talk because Onyx is the obvious favorite. You don't see that at U14. I do think this year will be much closer all around and Onyx will be challenged. The first two games haven't really reflected that but there's still a long season ahead! I look forward to an exciting year with many close games.

I seriously think LO is being rated way too high. But that is why they play the games. I think Onyx will finish #1, Sherwood #2, then LO, FC, and Nemesis will battle for 3-5 with any finishing order possible. It is also highly possible that Eastside will contend for the 3-5 slots. They had good summer results with split squads. How will the chemistry be with a defined/set top team?

I get that everyone has opinions, but do you see something myself and others don't see? Last time Sherwood played LO it was 5 -3, and still are undefeated against them since U11.

I think they see that LO plays prettier soccer. It may not lead to more victories than Sherwood at the moment but it will eventually pay off. They move the ball around better where Sherwood sends a long ball almost everytime. Both are great teams and when they play each other it's always very tough!

I agree I went to watch Sherwood play and was disappointed how they seem to only try and play the long ball now. They really play more lime Nemesis now which is all bootball. I think LO and FCP have the styles that will make them better teams in the long run.

Nemesis is the worst out of all the teams for playing bootball plus you have to listen to the coach yell the entire game!!

Only 2 teams do a really good job of possessing the ball and controlling the tempo and that is Onyx & FC Portland. I've been to many Sherwood, LO, & Nemesis games and all 3 are very similiar. I would disagree with your assessment of Sherwood & Nemesis, but I can understand your bias as a LO Lightning parent.

I agree that Onyx does a great job of possessing the ball while FC and LO both try to play correctly as well. Sherwood and Nemesis tend to boot the ball way too much once it hits the midfield. I do believe that Sherwood plays possession better than Nemesis but no where near FC and Onyx. Onyx is still the clear favorite to win it all but I do see them being challenged more and more each year as the teams will windle down and the talent won't be so widely spread out.
