The OYSA had two concussions right off the bat... one of them the keeper. Not a good excuse but made for a bad game. No keeper = very poor chance of success. MVLA and OYSA champion did not yield the same results.

Would anyone care to comment on that? What are your thoughts on this star studded, highly competitive age bracket?
Good luck today OSSA and THUSC. Hope to see them both in the finals.

Girls arrive late Friday and play an 8:00 a.m. game against the no. 2 team in the country. Play extremely hard and get a 0-0 draw. 3 hours and two concussions later (including to their keeper), the game against a very, very good WC team gets away from them. This is not a team that can afford injuries to key players, but it happens. Girls were exhausted and played like it. Not a good performance. BBQ and time at the beach last night, a good nights rest, and the girls are having a blast. Don't know if they'll have their keeper today. Either way, I expect the girls will play well today against Beach FC. I have found that score comparisons, particularly when you don't know who was playing, what the conditions were, or any of the particulars, to be a pretty useless endeavor. When you're talking a year ago, it is even more useless. Most of the THUSC and LO and Rush parents that I know realize that.
Good luck today OSSA and THUSC. Hope to see them both in the finals.

Oregon
Looks like Oregon is 'representing' in the U16 Gold Division as THUSC Sodium plays OSSA 95 Blue in the Semi Finals.
Go Oregon!!!

In the U18 girls bracket OSSA and Westside Fury are both playing in the semi-finals on opposite sides of the bracket. Could be an all Oregon final and rematch of the OPL state cup. Way to represent Oregon girls!
