This tournament is a joke this year.

First no other ODP team except BC.

ODP is trying to put the face of the Timbers on. OYSA ODP no matter what color shirt you wear you are still you, and program has really gone down hill.

Last, we could have played all of the teams, ODP year older, younger and club team in our practice sessions and saved a lot of money and gone fishing this weekend.

Thanks OYSA for yet another disappointment.

At least this should be the last ever Oregon ODP Cup or whatever they are calling it now.

There aren't any teams, unless they want to invite club teams. I dought that.

I did find it funny that many of the admin people were wearing Timbers gear. The way I understand it OYSA it still running Oregon ODP for the younger ages just added the Timbers name, it is still USYSA OYSA ODP. The Timbers will run their own program through the US Developement Acad program.

It I was the Timbers I would be calling and asking OYSA to take off my gear in this 2nd rate tournament.

Sorry my kid did make it. Sorry you can't read. I didn't say it will be the last year of ODP. I clearly stated ODP will continue just with the Timbers name attached, but it is still OYSA ODP. What I did predict is this will be the last year of this crap tournament.

Since no one showed up this year but BC do you really OYSA can have the tournament again next year. It is a complete rip off, $100.00 to play the teams we scrimage against.

I believe the low tournament participation is a sign of the economic environment, not a sign of mismanagement by OYSA or ODP. It would have been better to have had more out-of-state teams, but it didn't happen this year. I am glad the tournament wasn't cancelled.

I DO have a child playing in ODP and am pleased with the quality of the program, including this tournament.

Tourney is a joke

This is tourney sucks, paying money to play each other. I can't believe we needed to buy jerseys for this crap. For a scrimmage, wouldn't pennys over our training shirt have worked.

ODP has not been worth the money. For those smart enough to not go through the process this year, congrats.

ODP has been worth our money and we love it. During hard financial times traveling tournaments are not as popular unless they are showcase. On the other hand, it was super cool to have Santa Clara coaches watching our game. I haven't spoken with one of the top level player parents that is willing to toss it due to financial difficulty. Once they all get on the pitch together it clicks and reminds us of what it is all about. The opportunity to train and play at a higher level.
