As a relatively new soccer parent, I came to this forum to expand my knowledge. After reading a few threads - what a disappointment. Obviously my time is better spent elsewhere. Cheers to those that find this entertaining, but it certainly has little to do with kids and competitive soccer though.

If you want continued disappointment, stay in competitive soccer in Oregon. This forum is a glimpse of the crazy parents, ego driven coaches/DOC's and political corruption. Don't fool yourself into believing it's about the kids, it's not. Run while you can...run.

What qualifies you to determine if a coach is good or not ? Is it the 4 years of experience you have coaching your daughter's rec team.
