U-15 FC Portland boys head coach

Hello, Ive recently had my 14 year old son placed on the U-15 FC Portland boys team, under the head coach Dean Fowell. From what I have been told he is a smallish guy with an English accent, but aside from that information I don't know much else. Could anyone else give me info on Dean, what is he like, his personality, is he a good coach?

Great coach. Nice guy. and yes he is "smallish" but I don't think that has anything to do with his coaching ability.

My kids love him, and they don't play for FC, we got to know him when he was at Aloha. Great coach, very nice guy. Your son will learn tons about the game.

Don't have personal experience, but a friend of mine says he's really good and communicates very well.

Great for Rec soccer. Not good coaching classic.

The fact that you use the term "classic" soccer shows how little you now about the program. FC Portland is a premier club, and they have premier coaches. That said, Dean is a great guy with a great personality, and a top level coach.

Take your head from out of your ass!!!!!! You know nothing about coaching. I class Bob Bradley as a top level coach. Come on. U11's, top level coach. Give me a break!!!!! 'Premier club' is just a name given to them by NIKE. What makes a premier club? It's certainly not their coaches, that's for sure. He may be a great guy, but my sons team smashed them 7-0 in the spring league. I can honestly say, FC were awful and the parents were not too pleased either.
