Lets Be Honest
OSSA is a combination of the following clubs
LO - Good girls side - mediocre boys side
SSC- Non existent girls teams U15 and above some mediocre boys
WUSC- Non existent teams u15 and above
OSA- non existent teams u15 and above
Combining 4 clubs that have at best a good girls program and mediocre boys does not make a great club no matter what you name it.
Results for state cup fairly represents the clubs involved
Beware of the OUSA model. As some previously said same people that ran OUSA are now in charge of OSSA. BTW OUSA failed.

The reason OSSA is being formed is to improve the opportunities for players after U14 in all the clubs. This was especially true for OSA and WUSC I think. OSSA seems to be doing pretty well so far (did well in the NWCL, less so in the State Cup).
Also, I'd say that the upcoming U15 girls and U16 boys will be very very competitive. I am having difficulty understanding all your negativity about a group of clubs trying to do better by their member/players.

It seems in the OSSA expansion/consolidation the distances are not so great, so maybe it will work. We'll see.

Looking at it from an out of state perspective it seems to make sense to create stronger HS age teams to compete and be recruited at Surf, Vegas and other showcases.
