Hear reported 9 red cards
Heard this was MJ (THUSC). Got 9 red card at OPL, OYSA, and outstate tournaments.
Heard that one of the red cards was at a U10 game.
This any of this is true, that is a big black eye on coaches.Comment

Sapphire is a good team. Their record in winter league shows they have a consistent ability to hang with,and sometimes beat, the top 4-5 teams in their age group (including their own A team). Pretty good success rate! But this thread is not a critique of Sapphire. It's about their coaches behavior and choices during game time. Rumor has it that his comments were directed at the players on the other team. If there's truth to that (and it's still a big "IF"), it clearly crosses a line. Why did it take so long?
I can understand one red card or perhaps two. Eight or nine red card is ridiculous and most for his temper and profanity. What a sad example and seems like the club was slow to react. Red card in a U10 game? give me a break this guy should be done coaching period end of story.Comment

Of all the teams my child plays against the THUSC tend to be the most interesting. Our teams are rivals no doubt, but my complaint is that the team is coached to ref the game and flop in the box. This is an occurrence in every game played. The team is talented but that kind of coaching is terrible, it is the one thing that leads to most complaints about soccer at the high level and this team is taught how to do it. Again the club has talented players but from the top down to the coaches is awful and curious of other parents seeing this too. Play the game. I have no problem with parents showing displeasure at bad calls but players calling every throw in as theirs gets pretty old.Comment

Well said and so true. THUSC is talented at the U15 level (my daughters age) but I am so tired of the rudeness from the players and parents. Have a little respect for the "Beautiful Game". EVERY TEAM has calls that go in their favor and many more calls that do not. I'll tell you the reason; it's because the the THUSC teams always seem to be under the microscope. On this forum especially. If it was a WSM or ESUFC team, nobody would care or comment.
