Anyone know what happened in last weeks game (Feb 20th, 4:30pm Beaverton HS) between Pacific FC and THUSC ?

Guess ive got to gripe a bit here. I would think that a weeks time is more then sufficient to gather the game results. Come on OPL, get your stuff together.

No, but it is the OPL that our teams pay to play in their league. It is their responsibility to all of the teams that play for them to post those scores (however they gain the information) even if the HOME team doesnt.

Actually it was spelled out by OPL that the home teams manager is responsible for reporting the score. If the manager reports it in a timely manner then it gets posted online in a timely manner. If it doesn't get reported in a timely manner then it doesn't get posted online in a timely manner. Look to the team manger if you have a beef with scores not getting posted, not OPL.

Dont really care who the OPL blames, but I as a parent of a player on an opposing team dont feel it's my responsibility to hunt down the team manager of the home team to get them to post the score.

My money went to the OPL so that's who I would be looking at for results. They are the ones keeping them, posting them and managing the league aren't they ?

You'd think that a good league manager would be looking at ALL of the results by Wednesday each week to make sure that ALL of the scores are posted (what else do they have to do at that point in the week ?). If they are not, then pop out an email to the coach/manager/club DOC/head referee of those teams effected asking them to update asap.

I know when we played at OYSA they had a league manager, someone you can both email and call about such issues and they would help to resolve. I dont find that specific persons name and title on the OPL website. Anyone know specifically who that is ? (score keeper / league manager) and how to reach them directly ?

Here we have the chronic complainer.. Always something. You will be fine and if you need the score I am sure you can find it here. You can even do your own spread sheet.

Actually Im not, but I am from one of the BIG 8 and it frustrates the "you know what" out of me that they [OPL] cant keep better control of things like this. They dont offer on their website contact info other then scheduling and ref's. At least with the other group we had someone to call and could get results within a short period of time.
