These are the same DOCs that coach ODP and influence selection process in order to thump their chest and advertise “look at us..look at how many ODP players we have”. One of the systemic problems with ODP and the club nepotism inherent in ODP. Fortunately this program has checks and balances to avoid this issue but these DOCS have shown their true colors and have lost credibility.
Also sounds like this poster has some serious issues with DOC's (or maybe authority figures in general?). Been club hopping lately? Can't find a club where the DOC will implement or even listen to YOUR suggestions on how to run the club? Laughable really.

What is laughable is your post. I agree that certain DOC's just try to boost their numbers. It's a business. My guess is your kid is one of those number boosters.

Guested wrong big fella....Ha Ha Ha!!!

Don't see a lot of us getting our panties in a wad over some DOC's bloated ego like you seem to be. We just let the kids play, have fun and get the most out of it while they can. And FYI, my kids are in college now.

Good point, you are right that they can no longer coach ODP.

But their coaches can so it really makes no difference.

                To Be Clear

The post was about the selection process for the mobile training center and how it compared to ODP. It simply stated that the mobile training center selection process has checks and balances and DOCS are accountable to each other unlike ODP. Unfortunately this has not stopped certain DOCS to pursue their personal agenda.

                  WSM Usonians

Despite not even leading their own league the U13G had 4 girls at the training center. The best any other Team had was 1.

WSM has one u13 who should have been there, but four? We will know if the selection was right if they get invited back.

                        They have more than one.

While they are an athletic group of girls, they don't look to be national team caliber players. That said, which Oregon players are at this young age?

They do not have more than one. And the one they have is not who you expect.

Well if they were strictly looking for National level right now we wouldn't of sent any girls for the 97-98 age group.

A few from the 97's(U14G) and #23 from the Usonians are very talented players. Give them a few more years to develop. My own observation.
