They would have no problem qualifying for premier but yes just stay and kick but seems like Sherwood is doing just as well.

Sherwood is a much improved team. I don't think PCU should be in Premier so beating them 5-0 isn't all that impressive though. I saw the Onyx-Sherwood game and although Onyx dominated the game and got off a lot more shots I think Sherwood will be scoring many more goals this year. They've changed their formation and it was a good move.

I agree that Onyx should stay where they're at. They still have the NWCL games and can always play some friendlies vs the older teams and boys teams. I heard they beat their clubs boys team as well! And remember a lot can change as the year goes on.

I think the Keizer U12G will regret entering OYSA U13. I don't think it's worth sacrificing an entire fall season just to win State. They won't be very prepared when they go to Regionals.

I agree with you!! The u13 oysa is very weak and Keizer lost their first two games already. I thought they would be able to compete better against those teams.

Yeah Keizer made a big mistake there was NO competition in u12 oysa but come to opl and at least have some good games and good competition.

Didnt sherwood play them 2-1 even with the new player on Onyx?

Sherwood always plays well against Onyx. They get up for them every time they play them. Then they will get beat by some team they should beat. They are really inconsistent game to game.

FC (needs to get healthy, pool play never know what you are going to get)

They are a very good team from what i have seen of them. I got speking to one of their parents who told me that they are a very focused group of girls. At least 6 of the team gets additional private coaching. This has made a big improvement in those players according to what i was told and has raised the level of the team.

Completely agree with you here. Sherwood always plays Onyx tough. In all fairness though Onyx must have missed at least 10 good shots while Sherwood only had 2. One was off a corner kick and the one they hit was a rebound off a free kick. Onyx just needs to start getting them in the back of the net. At one point they had about 4 shots on goal, one right after the other and the keeper and defenders for Sherwood did a great job making some saves.

What has raised the level of the team as well is the 4 new additions to the team all of who are starters I believe now.
