there should be more teams
This is what i have heard as my daughter moves up in years, but what I have seen this year is there are not enough oppurtunities/teams. Lots of girls who want to play but not many teams, some clubs don't even offer high school age teams. I think this should be a major consideration when choosing a club at a younger age, but it is hardly mentioned in other threads about "where should I take my daughter at U11 or U12".
I agree with the stigmas attached to some clubs, we heard a lot of things and you can read them on this forum about THUSC but when we tried out my daughter and our family immediately felt welcome. The players, parents and coaches dedication to improvement and committment to the team is great, as I am sure it is with all of the top teams. Don't know how you can get that on a team you know will end at U14!
