poor to comical heading lead to 2 goals...first goal california cleanly and without any pressure heads the ball to an onlooking forward positioned grateful oregon player who heads it back to a teammate heading towards goal..did the cali girl get an assist on the play....oregon defender sets the ball on a platter inside the 18 for the cali girl to fire at goal... another defender has arms out and gets smack with shot on arm, inadvertent save...but a hand ball in the box none the less....causal heading after a long punt and corner kick..these girls need to be taught the basics of defensive heading on a corner...keep the going the direction of the incoming cross away from goal or over the endline at worst...also get some power and direction to send the ball high and wide and away from your attacking opponents...or pay the price of getting scored on in situations where none really exsisted until casual defensive heading reared it's ugly head....get off the forum and learn the basics of the game

Wonderful post (sincerely)! Entertaining and educational (at least to those of us who know squat about the game, i.e., most parents) without slamming. Go figure.

Looks like a handball to me

From the video looks like a hand ball to me. Look at players body language she know's she messed up. To bad for any player at any part of the field to get a hand ball but that is life and part of the game. Games are won and lost by mistakes, that mistake cost a penalty kick and a loss. One can only hope it will make a stronger player and team.
