eggy, I'm not upset. Text never tells what your words mean and at times they come off harsher then I mean for them to. No offense was meant by my comments. Was just saying I didn't agree with your train of thought on ranking.
I still stand by my older rankings. Things will pan out for all the teams. Give them time there is still stuff left...

No worries-Wondering. BC's rankings on WPS is computer generated I think by who a team plays and GF and GA. That is the "official WPS rankings".
After playing some of the top teams in both states I think you would see that the talent drops off quicker on the Oregon side. Ireland would be in the Washington top ten, but I don't think Bend, Marine, Sunderland or Energy would make the top 10.
I would love to see a regional ranking based on something other then tournament placements.

National Soccer Ranking puts Ireland at #2 in Region IV. The highest Washington team is SSSC at #15. Timbers are #26. Crossfire P. Lombard is #32. Marine is #44.

Or based on some coach or "expert" from the area. Oregon has none at GU13 and Washigton is a Crossfire coach. Ya think the rankings might be a little biased? Ranking Ireland #2 in the reagion is a little over the top.

Unlike GotSoccer, National Soccer Ranking is not based strictly on tournament results.
Is it biased toward Oregon teams? If so, please tell why.
I assume that Ireland is ranked second largely because it finished second in the Region IV Championship.
I see no basis on which to rate Nemesis or Xplosion higher than Bend. Bend is running evenly with Timbers (a team that has clearly played at a higher level than the other two) during Fall Season.

All ranking is going to be flawed. there is no perfect way of doing it. The best you can hope for is to play on a neutral sight. Regionals is the perfect example of this. While there, Ireland showed quit well, while Crush... Just my thoughts.

Bend did beat FCSC in the first game of LQT's in a very evenly matched game. The only goal scored was by FCSC on a mis-clear.
But- it is ONLY my opinion and my opinion is BIASED.

Eggy- you watched the Timbers vs Bend game and it should have been a 1-1 tie, The foul in the box was not a foul the girl ran pass the girl with the ball and then came back to her and the girl still kick the ball. Even Sonny said it wasn't a foul. And their last score the girl was at less 5 feet offsides but that is what happens when you only have one ref. Cora got hurt from two late kickes. So that is the way soccer goes.

Although, I do agree that the first time Iron Leg went down was a penalty (Yellow card). I did not see the second time until she was down.
