The reality is to get admitted as a freshman in the fall at any of the Big Four a four point zero will be the minimum. Getting admitted in the spring or as a transfer after two years will be the easier way in for the B student.

High school soccer can lower the GPA just below 4.0. The high school coach has practices and games scheduled the weeks of midterm and semester 2 exams.

And Vanderbilt has tougher admissions than all of them (UF included) and still manages to put a great team together.
