UF made it into the semifinals of the SEC tournament. If the Gators can win it then it will be in the NCAA tournament.

Very impressive. That Vanderbilt squad was tearing it up in the regular season. Becky is a great coach!

A 3.7 could balance a 4.3 freshmen but more of the students will have closer to the 4.0 to get admitted. The mean these days is closer to the median, meaning most students will have to have very close to the 4.0 and high test scores to get admitted to USF.

The reality is to get admitted as a freshman in the fall at any of the Big Four a four point zero will be the minimum. Getting admitted in the spring or as a transfer after two years will be the easier way in for the B student.

That is true, if you can play a sport the bar is not as high, the more money that sport brings the lower the bar. Also with all this weighted gpa who doesn't have a 4.0 gpa.

There are average children in this world. As hard as they try they get C's and B's. Adding .5 for an honors class will only get a B grade to a 3.5.

High school soccer can lower the GPA just below 4.0. The high school coach has practices and games scheduled the weeks of midterm and semester 2 exams.

Vanderbilt was the regular season champions. UF is peeking as a team after a tough start of losing starters. SEC tournament games are cancelled today and will resume tomorrow due to the weather. The players will have a day of study in Orange Beach.

The cancellation of today's games helps UF a lot. The extra day of recover will benefit the players tremendously. Especially considering the Gators have played one more game than Arkansas this week.

And Vanderbilt has tougher admissions than all of them (UF included) and still manages to put a great team together.
