Who with OC ECNL either has no clue or no life, to agree to a schedule change to game that ends at 3:00 PM in Greenville, SC? It will be after midnight before most get home.

NPL is a club wide guarantee for a club to have all teams in a top league. In FSPL teams have to earn a place.

"only the top 16 teams." Where did you get that? That's where they start. If 4-5 of those teams elect to not play FSPL you get 17-21? Or whomever applies? Lots of disparity between #1 and 21 that does not seem to competitive. But you clearly fail to understand reality of FSPL.

Not the poster, but I agree with you. We were not in the top 16 and were invited late. We were put in the 2nd division but have no problem playing 1st Division teams.

That really highlights the issue though. Teams change so significantly between seasons, you don't know what you get. In our group, U15B, Coral Gables was the best team coming out of last year and they were destroyed by defections. FC Florida didn't even make the round of 16, and ended up having a pretty good season in FSPL. Pinecrest Blue is another team that moved dramatically in mother direction.

It all works out, but neither NPL nor FSPL can safeguard against the effects of changing rosters. Last years champions often have a tough time repeating. And some just lose it completely.

In FSPL League 1 for U15B there were 3 teams who were invited in - one is named above the other 2 were Miramar and Pinecrest Real Madrid. Pinecrest Blue did earn its way in but was gutted even worse than Coral Gables from the prior season.

Florida Fire won FSPL last year but made its way back in to league 1 with a single win at last year's state cup.

Of the 20 combined teams in FSPL for U15B there were 12-14 very good teams represented, most of whom look like they will be playing in the round of 16 and a couple of surprises that didn't make it.

IDK, because my kid is having fun. And, that is the bottom line for me. If my kid is having fun then I will do whatever I can to support her. You sound like you are jealous otherwise you would not keep bringing it up.

Get used to it and stop complaining or quit playing ECNL. The older girls have been getting home late from every away trip all year. Part of the learning experience is getting on a bus Friday morning and returning late Sunday and still keeping up with schoolwork. The upside is parents get to stay home.

OC is close to becoming entirely Brazilian. The majority owner is gonna fire that English FOOL soon enough.
