Originally posted by Unregistered View PostYou guys are getting robbed! You should travel across town some so your kids can get some real training. My U17 kid practices 3 nights a week, 4th training is optional although we are fortunate that most of our team's players show up for the 4th practice. To be fair we will be missing some practices due to HS practices however it is still mandatory that we attend 2 practices a week. As another poster stated, it will be interesting to see how the OCYS teams perform in state cup. Has to make you wonder if the club is looking at eventually only having the DA and no youth club or just rec club for youth teams.

The story goes that if you drop a frog into boiling water, it will sense the pain and immediately jump out. However, if you put a frog in room-temperature water, it will swim around happily and as you gradually turn the water up to boiling, the frog will not sense the change. The frog is lured to its death by gradual change. Our players can lose their touch, vision and speed of play, gradually, one day at a time. It might be a cliché’, but that’s because it is true: The enemy of “the best” is not “the worst.” The enemy of “the best” is “just fine.”......."

Maybe OC should be the mail club and FKK the female clubs of choices for central Florida.

Ecnl is changing that mind set this year, OC is improved and winning and that's what everyone judges, right.

They are winning thanks to FCA so don't kid yourself thinking it's due to OCYS "developing". They only "developed" how to recycle full teams.

13's now 14's = 19th
14's now 15's = 5th
15's now 16's = 16th
16's now 17's = 9th
17's now 18's = 18th
Those are state rankings not National rankings
