GotSoccer Points gone Mad - Seminole League ranks higher than FSPL?

Holy whatever.

I just looked up a team, Space Coast, who played U14 last year in the Seminole Soccer League.

I noticed that the League has more points value than the Florida State Premier League, by a big margin. 2,875 point Flight Value for Seminole versus 2,063 for FSPL.

So here is the crazy part. The Seminole Soccer League had 10 teams last year and HALF of the teams were playing up at least a year in age to help complete the league. Its worse, one of the teams was playing two years up to be in the league. HALF were U13, One of those was U12 and the U14s that played on age were average teams. Only Orlando City Purple was any good.

On the other hand, the FSPL was made up of the top state cup performers from the prior year all playing on age and all ranked in the top 20, even top 10 in the state.

How on earth does Space Coast get 1,600 points for being FOURTH in the Seminole League?

And how does FC America Premier 99/00 get 1,955 points for finishing THIRD? They got beat 0-6 by the Toros, 0-6 by Weston, 2-5 by some team called OCYS 99/00 Eagles. This team is clearly Division Two but the Seminole Soccer league points launched them into the top 15 along with Space Coast..Both are RANKED AHEAD of Clay County, ACYS Gold, Pinecrest Real Madrid, Strictly Soccer and more. Clay County would beat these teams 5-0 at least.

Got Soccer needs an adjustment in methodology. Good luck to those teams. I am sure they are nice boys, but man we need a new ranking system.

Whenever you read articles about the habits of highly successful people, when does anyone recall reading about them giving a crap about anonymous soccer posts? If JT was such a success why would he care?

It must sting that he knows he profited at the expense of investors and taxpayers.

Anyone hear about rumored brawl in palm coast at region b premier event? Heard older boys teams fighting. Maybe JFC? Parents hitting refs... Cops were called. Just keeping it classy? How does fysa handle this? Club penalties? Disband teams?

4. Records show they WILL NOT pick from PERPLE OR any lower teams for ECNL or DA
- that is because they effectively destroyed those kids growth potential by denying training opportunities

Then few teams under SELECT Highly PAID Coaches are looking good by showing 3 days training compared to other teams 2 days. Reality is they have reduced from 4 days to 3 for few and
reduced 4 days to 2 for every other team at same level!

News flash! Some one has taken an interest in our younger teams! It has started with just the boys teams. The club has the older teams above u14 that arent DA going only 2 days week ( that is a problem in my book) but we should scream and shout until these little kids go back to 2 days a week.

You are nuts if you think that's made up. The netherlands is one, spain is another. Yes the clubs pick the players. I never said it was a national team selecting the kids.

I did some research and it turns out for Europe club home grown players. For 2012, Spain takes 14th rank and Netherlands is 16th.

Somehow I very much doubt that you won the Qualifier, registered and paid for the Showcase on time and still did not get in. If you did your coach or team manager would be on the phone with Disney, and you wouldn't be out on the forum trying to stir up trouble.
