What does it matter? this is not about fairness. There is no fairness in sports.

Maybe these "pre" kids are considered better and more valuable so they pay less and get more training. That is just the way it is.

I have heard of MLS clubs where the "pre" kids pay nothing, the DA kids pay nothing and everyone else pays full fare. Including the 14 and 15 year old kids that are not PA or DA.

Sports is not about equality, it is about performance and meritocracy based upon the sole opinion of the coaches.

If you don't like it, there are other clubs out there.
The "pre-kids" are 10 to 12 years old and you have already crowned them professionals. Get real.

Could work the same with ECNL. Either they make the team on the first chance, or they never do. If the club needs to fill spots at the older age group, the do so outside the club with known ECNL players of new players they have never seen.

Not professional, just more potential than those not selected for "pre". It only makes sense as the clubs clearly focus on these kids more than others.

If you want the special treatment, be on one of those teams.

They pay the same as all purple teams. Older purple teams pay more from the stand point of more travel and more expensive tournaments.

idiot statement. you how much kids grow and don't grow. you know how many kids go by the wayside and can't continue to transition into a faster game, or how many kids lose interest. THEY ARE 10 - 12 year olds.

Lawyer? You are going to add to the judicial mess by taking a coach or club to court because they dumped your daughter? Lady, you told all of Orlando and Tampa that you were broke and couldn't afford to play soccer. Looking for a handout from both teams. Now you have money for a lawyer? For Youth Soccer? If I am AH, I bring you onboard (and you will pay) then play your kid 5 minutes per game. Oh by the way mom, there is no guaranteed playing time. What a mess you are!

I am not making the decisions. If that is reason is wrong, you tell us why the clubs focus more on the "pre" kids than other kids the same age?

Why do the DA kids get all the attention when others in the club at the same age only practice two times a week and pay more? The DA kids are free right?

What is your reason for the disparate treatment?

I should have been more clear. At my son's age group, the Purple teams pay more than White and Gold. I don't know or care how it works in the older age groups. When we get to that point, we will decide if OCYS is still a good fit for us. At this point, it is.

This happens with DA coaches and players that don't make the first cut.

The first impression is the most valuable in sports and life.
                      Change that coach! Fire him!!

How many MLS clubs you know have 501C3 Youth Soccer clubs?

MLS can have DA or their own MLS Youth Academy. But they have to fund themselves and then own the player rights.

PR, you are clearly in this for stealing. We will raise this campaign to the highest level possible. FIX IT NOW !!

Or just leave. If you are not on DA and ECNL, (and now Pre-DA at 8 years?) you are a lost case. Just another revenue contributor. Be dumb and stick with people who don't believe in your kids because they themselves are LOSERS!

Currently there is only club left in the area which is Maitland. Other than them, YMCA and Upward Soccer. All others make you to pay like it is Highest Pro level and treat you like S..t.
