You can tell from OC tournament attendances plus the coalition that there is a boycott in place. The question is if OC decided tomorrow that they wanted to change their ways and re-establish themselves in the Orlando community how should they go about it.
Suggestions for things they should start doing as well as things they should stop doing would be appreciated.
Not trying to be sarcastic, but there are several people who want to be the big club in town, and they think there is only room for one. The reason the other club merged with OCYS to start with was because they thought they would be in control of the big club.

Finally a voice of reason

All teams other than DA only practice twice a week at OC. Over time as players find themselves not making DA they will move to other clubs who provide more value and more training. Over time OC teams will also begin to suffer as players leave and those that stay just don't get enough training.
Purple lions, seeing Kaka, a couple tickets here and there are not enough to keep the player.

Its disappointing but not surprising that grown adults as parents, coaches and DOC's would put their own interests and negativity in front of the kids potential to pursue a dream. The boycott will continue, its just the way it is.

OC is and always will be propaganda. The Orange County leaders figured it out and the Seminole leaders are blind. Talk about meeting the requirement for hotel beds. They will not meet it and the Seminole leaders will not do anything about it. They will not go after the money. Phil will talk his way out of it as he always does.
OC, staff and all coaches are all a joke! Crap on the grand heap of crap.
Stay away as your kid will end up with nothing!

The next closest MLS DA academies is in DC till Atlanta gets one. Do you know how blessed Orlando is to have that available, not to mention the MLS team itself. I include coaches from other clubs too because they know its in the best interest of youth players pursuing the dream of a professional career to transition to OCYS by U13.
