My daughter was told no more high school soccer. Not sure what u heard.

I heard what was said at the parents' meeting by AH and SR. The Club doesn't recommend it, and it's tough on the girls physically when the seasons overlap. But, it is up to the individual player to make that decision. The Club will not disallow HS soccer as a policy.

this was the same at our meeting....although, they did say players that miss training will play less. in years past the teams were not as deep so their hands were tied

You think girls are going to quit ECNL teams to play HS soccer? On the contrary, my daughter will play both if she decides to do so, and if OC decides to bench her that's up to them. Personally, I'm not worried. I think she'll see plenty of playing time.

He little soccer mommies do you not have anything better to do than stir the pot in hopes of watching a player jump from eCnl all because of high school ? This happened a few years back under the direction of your friend HM so why is it different now?

ECNL Commish does not discourage HS Soccer. The league allows a break so that the players may participate and be High School kids. At this point, this is the way it is but she does not rule out future plans to adopt the same policies the Academy does for boys. If I was you I would be more worried about who AH lets into the club than playing HS. There are club hoppers that just keep on hopping. I didn't think OC was in desperation mode yet. I was wrong. And what coach is that? AH has said several times it is up to the girls. They just aren't going to schedule around high school.
