 All soccer field lighting fixtures on soccer fields A and B, fencing and
parking areas associated with Sylvan Lake Park roadways;
 The Training Facility’s structural, electrical, water, sewer, and HVAC
components;
 Maintenance of soccer fields A, B, C, and D;
 Tennis and racquetball court areas; and
 Sidewalks, walking paths, pavilions, playgrounds, picnic areas, trails,
parking, natural park areas, areas associated with lake and roadway park
infrastructure, outdoor restrooms, boardwalks, and maintenance shop areas
associated with Sylvan Lake Park.
(b) On-site oversight and management of this Agreement.

but lets not forget the public gets to share the lobby and bathrooms with OC.

In the second game of OCYS combined team of 98/99 vs. 2000 USGNT it was tied 0-0 after 60 minutes, and most observers, including a number of college coaches I was sitting near, thought OCYS had the better of play. The final was 2-1 USGNT (all goals obviously scored in last 30 minutes when fatigue set in on both sides) and both US goals were just phenomenal individual play (one set piece magnificent goal from outside the 18 and the other on a ridiculous shot in a 2 on 1 situation also from from well outside the 18 when the goalie got caught just a little out of position)
All in all a fairly even match no matter how you slice it. Clearly the OCYS girls are one/two years older, but they were an all-star team put together at the last moment while the US team has been training together for little a while. This was the best 18 players in the entire country playing against the best 18 in the a particular part of one of 50 states pretty much. and it was a toss up. OCYS should be proud they could attract the US team to play at their facility and be able to give their girls this sort of experience and exposure. An dthen to play them toe to toe as they did just icing on the cake. Any who thinks their team could have played the national team toe to toe like this is pretty much smoking something. It just doesn't happen. Let's give the kudos- OCYS had the opportunity and stepped up to the plate. If all the other teams in the area that think could play the USGNT toe to toe are correct, our US Program REALLY STINKS :-(

The OC girls were not put together at the last minute. Been playing together for at least a year. Spin it any way. Without the FCA girls, especially at the now U14, your OC team would continue to lose the important games. Work on your technical fame and worry less about social life. Thus game is a sacrifice. 60% of the girls playing today will not be playing by their senior year.

Just as a matter of information the general public today is not allowed use of any of the fields at Lake Sylvan or actually many of the Seminole county fields. Its been this way for quite some time. To understand the nature of the deal you must understand the county government and the people involved. Sure congratulations and welcome to Seminole County but the residents of Seminole county have been getting screwed with another "public/private" crony partnership for a long time now. Millions of dollars have gone to these sweet heart deals with no return to the county.

Personally I am glad that Sylvan Lake is finally private and I hope the remaining 4 soccer fields become private as well. After all were they ever public? Have any of you ever tried to use those "public" fields to kick a soccer ball with you kid? You get kicked out by a public employee very quickly. I never got kicked out out of FSA when it was private and now with Orlando City, you can use their practice field whenever you want.
