Did CFK build the teams that brought them ecnl, no they were merged in from another club. Did OC get ecnl, no it was merged in from another club.
You obviously weren't there. Those teams were made through the CFK program and great coaching. Don't believe me? Ask the team members- which is something you loudmouths from OCYS never seem willing to do. All you have to do is ask the players...

Cfu mergered those teams to form CFK, less than 2 years later became OC merger.

You can't just re write history because you wish it were true. JA, GB, CM and MM had teams in Kraze/Krush. They were registered through Maitland one year and WESA another. They then merged with CFU - when HM came to town - and the vast majority of the players for the top teams (black) were from Kraze/Krush. CFU did nothing but acquire them. Two years later CFK merged with OC. On the girls side ECNL had just been awarded to CFK (had not competed in a season yet) and that transferred over to OC. On the boys side the DA was awarded to OC as a result of an agreement with Rush to bring its best players over and the merger with CFK. So CFK boughtnotbuilt, and now you try to make that a negative because you are on the outside looking in.

And by the way, I was there for both. I also like both clubs. I think they both have good people in them, and they both have people that are in it for themselves. Good and bad with both clubs.

How convenient to say "ECNL was awarded to CFK" as if the Soccer Fairy just showed up and randomly dropped a certificate. Awfully easy for people like you and other hostages of English propaganda to downplay the real work it took for two years to win ECNL. But that wouldn't quite fit your narrative.
OCYS didn't earn it. End of story. You can't erase that history.

Who ever said we earned it dumbass? Nobody. You keep making this argument but you are having it with yourself. OCYS did not even exist when ECNL was "earned" by CFK. But CFK was a financial disaster with over $100,000 in unpaid bills. That is why HM handed the whole kit and caboodle over to OC. Phil came in and wiped away the debt with one check.
So, for the record, OCYS bought and paid for ECNL. Now why don't you tell the rest of the story? <crickets>
OK, I'll be your Paul Harvey. When things went south for the "Father of ECNL", HM started up his own club with his merry BOD. They made a mighty pitch to the ECNL office to take the program with them. ECNL did not want to get in the middle of this fight and told HM and OC to "work it out." OC offered HM a coaching job with no management responsibilities. Actually, he would have been a trainer that would probably have not been allowed anywhere near the ECNL teams. HM was not about to take a trainer gig when he had a BOD willing to fund a new club for him and a roster of girls just waiting to leave OC and join back with the "Father of ECNL". So armed with his new club, a bunch of petition signing parents and some talented kids, HM made his case for taking ECNL with him to FKK.
ECNL listened and took about one day to tell HM, "Thanks but no thanks." You see HM's girls were not exactly lighting up ECNL when they played for OC. Most were at the bottom of the SEC. ECNL was all too aware of HM's past financial difficulties. OC made their case that they should keep ECNL because they had the resources to build the program over the long term. OC is a professional soccer organization. FKK is a community club. Really no comparison. FKK still has talented players but one or two years of talent does not make a soccer club. OC has the ability to pull in talent from all over the state. OC can subsidize their ECNL program. FKK has to fundraise just to go to an out of state tournament. Check mate....mate!
So there you have it. OC did not earn ECNL but they kept it. OC is keeping ECNL because they are better organized, more financially stable and have far more resources to build a winning ECNL club than a couple years worth of players. Even ECNL agrees that you should recruit talent to the club. This BS about "developing talent" is how a DOC sells renewal memberships to gullible parents. Anyone with game is welcome to try-out with OC ECNL. It does not matter where you played U6 soccer and it sure as hell does not matter where you played last year. We want one thing - The best. Because ECNL is about the best playing the best. So you can have your "I have been playing for JA and HM for the last eight years" and you can sit on the corner and sell donuts with it. The real talent is coming to OCYS and there is not a damn thing you can do about it. So go spread your rumors on TS. Nobody is buying it. Why don't you come out to Lake Sylvan road and poke your nose through the fence in a few weeks. You might be surprised who you see trying out for OC.

You keep moving the goal post. First it was CFK developed those teams and now it's OC didn't earn it. CFK did not develop those players so they did not earn it. The girls earned it and the coaches earned it - btw 2 of those are with OC and 2 with CFK. Point is CFK didn't earn anything either. You may need professsional help. At the end of the day it doesn't matter who "earned" it though because OC has it. Deal with it.

What is the big deal about playing in the DA or ECNL? I got a D1 college scholarship and played semi-professionally after college and I wasn't in a DA program.
I don't really get the big fuss over all of this stuff. If your in one of these program great, but if your not it isn't the end of the world or that big of a deal either.

You forget one very important detail. The OC attorneys. Not only did they push ECNL into a corner but they tried to prevent the FKK players from playing in any league. Who does that?!
Also heard that ECNL has changed their bylaws to deal with clubs who use symantecs like OC does. He only problem is that the OC attorneys are very underhanded and good at what they do so I am sure they will find some other way to keep the "best girls" in the best league. By the way, how has that worked out for you? You may honk a lot of people are coming out for tryouts, but they are all looking at your organization and wondering. They are not as blind as you would like them to be. Hope you don't sell them on the fact that you will have ECNL for decades because at the current rate I would think your heads are on the ECNL chopping block.

You can become a business executive using many routes, but Harvard Business School opens more potential doors. Same with DA and ECNL. If you want to play at the next level it gives you more exposure. It is common for college coaches to attend normal league games in these leagues, and even attend training sessions. You can play at the next level without these leagues for sure, but they certainly help.
