The story is the same as last year. They recruit the best players and ruin them. The coaching turnover will be large again this year. I feel sorry for the ones playing for ML.

Why do you feel sorry for that team? They've been very successful this year with ML. Since you like to post about gypsies and ML and others at OC, why don't you tell us who your coach is, and what makes them so great, and what their record is this year? If you are happy with your child's situation then why does it matter about OC? Don't you have better things to do then worry about another club? You aren't hurting them in the least. In fact you'll be lucky if you don't lose at least 25% of your kids to them in tryouts. Every senior member of the U18 DA has either signed with a college or is still evaluating offers. But I guess in your mind the record of wins and loses matters more than the individual success of the kids? Hmmmmm

Rush: We have fields and are in Windermere and Winter Garden. We would love to help poor kids but can't find any, however, if any parent's lose their job, they can apply for a scholarship for their child as long as they agree to volunteer 1000 hours for the club.

SOS: We will hold try-outs....errr...I mean free clinic at Conway Middle School to help the poor kids of Belle Isle.

Maitland: We defer to FKK. They make all our decisions for us. But we may win a state cup this year putting our name on their teams!

FKK: We have fields and been doing Fun Fridays at shopping malls hoping to meet some poor families and teach their kids soccer essentials like paying a membership in a club with no FYSA affiliation. Next week we will be holding friendlies at our fields so our parents will quit complaining about not having league play this spring. We are happy to offer free instruction to any child who is talented enough to make our Black team.

Phones started ringing at Coalition club offices. Here's how it went:

Club - hello XYZ club
Caller - This is suzie your OC sales rep, we would like to offer you a super deal on club nights at one of our home games
Club - YEs????
Suzie - For the super price of $1500 you can have you club featured at one of our home games. Your kids would be on the field in their uniforms, escorting players onto the field and as ball boys/girls.
Club - $1500 does that include admission.
Suzie - No admission is not included.

It is an fkk fight and they are trying to convince everyone else they are being threatened. If you are gou, you aren't worried about losing all your kids probably just a couple to DA. Most parents, especially in the younger age groups aren't going to drive far. Fkk and maitland are concerned because they are so close to Orlando city.

The answer would be HM and the board at FKK. They are the ones that decided to locate the home fields within 15 miles of OC. 5 miles pops. 5 miles and FYSA would have been yours. HM could not stand to give up turf and decided to take on the rules he knew all too well. 5 miles. Many of your problems would have been avoided had you just moved east 5 miles. Your arrogant and entitled leaders are the reason you have no FYSA affiliation.

Not the fields being used for clinics but the general threat to fkk is Orlando city. OC has their hub and most kids aren't going to drive there unless they are DA or Ecnl. The current clubs have their fields and new ones being built are for growth. If the clubs grow then they can bid field space and time.

Here we go all over again. This is when OC starts playing the " YOU DON"T HAVE GAME " IF YOU RECALL LAST YEAR BEFORE TRYOUTS. OC SAID FKK DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING INCLUDING ACCESS TO FIELDS.

FKK HAS EVERYTHING THEY NEED INCLUDING CARING WELL THOUGHTFUL COACHES.
