You Fkk'rs are just relentless, aren't you? Can't you just get over it? Nobody cares that you hate OC. What possible purpose does it serve to continue to post this over and over? Does it make you feel better about yourself somehow?

Why do you guys automatically assume every negative comment about OCYS is from FKK? You seem obsessed with that small club to the point of paranoia. Maybe you don't realize how broad your club's unpopularity really is.

The focus at City is on the boys side. Why do so many good players leave Orlando to go somewhere else? Why are so many boys avoiding these guys to play in other places? City only wants DA to market themselves. They don't care about your kid or about your kids development.

In addition why would anyone that wants to play in college on the boys or girls side stay at City?

Last but not least the coaching staff is the worst in the entire state. ML the DA coach is a total joke. The boys know it, the mannequins know it and all the other coaches know it. He has never coached a team above the region cup level but because he has an accent he is coaching at the academy at OC.

If you are picking what club to register your child at based on comments that you read on TS that could or could not be from a particular club then you are clearly overlooking what's most important about a club and how such club can develop your child. Good luck to you as to me every club has bad apples and no club is immune of trouble makers.

I'm hardly basing that decision solely on what I read on TS. I know enough of the parents at FKK to make an informed decision. Maybe "what's most important about a club" is the part that you seem to be missing. Unfortunately the few bad apples do speak volumes about your club. You could all us a dose of humility and let the results, both on the field and the classroom, speak for themselves. Promotion through nothing but negative advertisement is not becoming of anyone.

So true but you are foolish if you think it doesn't go both ways. If you think OCYS is a great place for your child then hopefully that becomes reality for you but to not recognize that BOTH clubs spew negativity and boast about results in same obnoxious manner then you are not being honest or simply have already made your decision about next year and tring to justify your intention of going to OCYS. Either way it doesn't matter to me but to claim that only FKK is attacking and obnoxious isn't factual.

I guess your choice comes down to:

A club with great results on the field, in the classroom and in recruiting, with some vocal boasters and some negativity toward the other club.

or

A club with poor results on the field and in recruiting, with some vocal boasters and some negativity toward the other club- (but with MLS!)

If you think OCYS is a great place for your child then hopefully that becomes reality for you but to not recognize that BOTH clubs spew negativity and boast about results in same obnoxious manner then you are not being honest or simply have already made your decision about next year and tring to justify your intention of going to OCYS. Either way it doesn't matter to me but to claim that only FKK is attacking and obnoxious isn't factual.

Here's an idea. Go to a game, find a parent(s) who seems to be somewhat rational and sane during the game (i.e. people not on TS regularly). Ask them about the team, the coach and the atmosphere. They may lobby you but at least it'll be a face to face interaction with the understanding that they may have to stand behind what they say if you choose that team.

There are great parents, kids and coaches in both clubs and we're lucky to have them.

Regarding trying to run OC into the ground may I suggest to, assuming you have an open mind, to drive to the FKK offices and look at all the threatening letters from lawyers representing OCYS and their effort to squash FKK. Letter after letter and phone calls from attornies show that it is OCYS that tried to ruin FKK and what has since happened is a result of OCYS and their retaliatory efforts against a man that they fired. Believe who you want to believe but I never met HM until this year and if would think many of the parents of the 900 kids at FKK also never knew HM until this year. I wish OCYS the best of luck and OCYS needs to also step away and let the 900+ kids at FKK have their fun on the pitch. And maybe good people like you can speak to the directorship at OCYS and say let it be and stop working against FKK especially when it comes to FYSA. Is that too much to ask?

I thought your post was BS until I read the part about HM calling you about your daughter then I knew it was. I know that he has not contacted you for at least 6 months, and if he does again it wouldn't be for another 6. You are obviously already part of OC, and have blinders on if you think that FKK has been the aggressor. You may want to ask some other clubs in the area to confirm who the aggressor is.

And what gives you the right to libel a man you don't know? Does the anonymity of a message board somehow make you think you can throw that accusation around with impunity?

I think it's telling that you- as an OC supporter (let's stop pretending, okay?) have the stones to suggest a truce after all the efforts your club and its legal team made to strangle FKK in the crib- including the aforemnetioned bogus poaching charges, the stack of letters (available to anyone for review) with legal threats and the similar stack received by ECNL and even FYSA from the Purple Lyin'. Your English leaders tried and failed, and now the smoke has cleared and it's evident to ANYONE who cares to look that the performance, the development, and the results aren't there. (Oh, but they certainly will be better NEXT year, or maybe the year after).
