    "exposure and name"...

I agree these things define OC- but not in the way they intended.

the club's got a bunch of stuff on its website linking MLS to the youth club. Seems a little stretched.

          Time to move on

To all OC parents and faithful,
It is time to move on. The FKK banter was fun but we have bigger fish to fry. With a new stadium and move to MLS and soon NWSL, the war has been won. The haters have no story and will continue to rip on our teams much like small dogs nipping at our ankles. It will never change, especially on TS. This is the only forum where they have a voice. Their supporters would rather see youth soccer decline so they can prove they were right.

I say we focus on the future. Continue to promote soccer in Orlando, work to expand the game in your community and schools and stay positive about the sport without the need to address the critics. The recent turnout at the Lions championship game, the MLS announcement and the WNT game show this region is ready. The opportunity to provide a development pipeline from U6 to pros is unprecedented in the area. We can now take our children to home games and let them dream of one day playing in front of their hometown in an MLS kit. We know what the future will bring. We know what opportunity is available for any child who wants to play. Stay focused on the plan and ignore the hate.

I agree. Once we stop losing games and players they will realize the benefits. We have MLS and they have wining teams, soccer scholarships, and a family atmosphere. Boy are they suckers!

Is this actual footage of the OCYS coach beating up the referee?

                    ..."the war has been won".

Were we in a war to get MLS and a stadium? dang, here all this time I've been thinking it was about youth soccer and development, maybe getting a shot for my kid to play in college. Boy, was I wrong. Turns out the only thing that matters is MLS, a stadium and "dreaming about the pros".

Looks like I missed the boat. Should I call the University and tell them she doesn't want the scholarship anymore?

Okay, I'm willing. But tell me again- what exactly IS "the plan"? And how much will it cost me?

If this is a representative opinion at Orlando City, then it's clear that these two clubs will never agree because they have completely different missions and values. Not that there's anything wrong with either- but they are certainly dramatically different.

It was dying, nobody had posted anything for almost a day, and then you post this to start it up again. Seems that you should take your own advice

The plan is simple. Give us your money and buy what we are shoveling. Our business plan in complete. We won the political battles, fooled clueless politicians.

Our business plan involves the 1/10th of 1% of potential Pro's that we can sell off like a horse trader sells off a stud.

$$$$$$$$ We Won $$$$$$$$$$ We Won

Youth soccer for some of us does not involve the color purple.
