    "...a new spam nem..."? What's a "nem"?

-Bought access to DA (through Rush) and ECNL (through CFK)

The only thing they bring to the table is marketing and the ability to take credit for everything that others actually worked for and grew. as soon as they get it, things go South. That's the simple truth.
Someone finally said it and thank you for speaking out . The truth is always the truth. OC did bring a solid game plan to take over along with local political battle they seemly have conquered. OC has stirred more issues between individuals then those individuals will ever know. Good luck in your after life OC leaders although I understand that Church and God is not a priority for any of you unless it's needed to gain a political advantage.

Are you the Official Arbiter of TS? Or are you an Orlando City Director who just claims the title?

So, os he still a coach at OCYS? Has the club addressed the incident publicly?

C'mon, give them a break, don't you know you can't turn purple without being choked. It's part of their marketing strategy.

From the outside, but I have to ask, why should they address this publicly? To appease you ffk'ers?

I'm not an "fkker", but you can believe what you want, Phil.

Gosh, we've been through this SO many times already- it's simply good business to promote the club's core values. By addressing the issue instead of letting it fester it allows the club to position itself as truly caring about the values it espouses.

Left alone, it allows the rumor mill and bad PR to take root.

I have to admit I enjoy reading the OCYS weekly recaps as it shows what the club is doing in a positive light. But what confuses me is didn't the U14 girls WIN against GSA on Sunday or is the ECNL website wrong? The recap says the U14 team struggled against a tough GSA squad and fell 4-1 but didn't OCYS win 4-1? I think it's great the the club is doing their best to help promote our girls but lets get the most simple facts right and show everybody in the community that OCYS is fully engaged in the girls' program. Doesn't anybody proof these articles before hitting the publish button? Lastly, I don't think the reference to one of OCYS's team from last year was needed. There are other ways to show that the ECNL program is improving without making comments which we all now are targeted to the former ECNL players that left. Let's just move on and focus our efforts on the girls that are supporting our club.

Congratulations OC management! You continue to show your lack of leadership and classless ways. Wouldn't expect anything less. And you wonder why this situation doesn't die or move on.

                                ECNL Recap

The U14s began their weekend with an opening match against the Atlanta Fire. In the first minute of play, Sarah Bissett made a piercing run that resulted in a tidy finish from close range, giving the Lions an early advantage. For the remainder of the match, OCYS controlled the tempo but struggled to take advantage of several glorious chances.Orlando's poor finishing would prove to be costly, when the Lions goalkeeper’s clearance deflected off a Fire striker and into the back of the net, ending the match in a 1-1 draw. On Sunday, the U14s struggled against a tough GSA squad, and as a result fell 4-1.

In their first match against the Atlanta Fire this season, the U15s took an early lead when Sabrina Henderson rocketed an effort into the back of the net. As the second half progressed, the Fire would equalize and the match would finish as a draw. The draw against the Atlanta based club was the first point earned by the 15s this season. On the following day, the Lions were not as fortuitous as they suffered a 4-0 defeat to Georgia Soccer Alliance.

The U16 ECNL team was on the road this past weekend, and faced two tough sides, Georgia Soccer Alliance and Atlanta Fire. Their first match of the weekend featured the Fire, who is known as an established team and defeated the young Lions 2-0 in their previous meeting.

In this outing, however, Chrissy Volontine scored early for Orlando and assisted Maya Fisher later in the match to produce a second goal for the Lions. Nevertheless, the Fire answered with three goals of their own- resulting in a 3-2 loss for City. The following day, the U16s held GSA to a scoreless first half, but would concede three goals in the second period, leading to a 3-0 defeat.

Despite both losses, the U16s have scored just as many goals in conference play as they did all of last season, with 3/4 of the campaign remaining.

The U17s had a rough day at the office as they also dropped three points in both of their games, suffering heavy defeats to the Atlanta Fire and Georgia Soccer Alliance.

The U18s, on the other hand began their weekend with a hard fought 1-0 victory over the Atlanta Fire.

Jessica Hamrick provided the lone goal for the U18s with a long range effort that flew past the goalkeeper. On Sunday, the Lions took an early lead over GSA from a Brianna Camargo goal, stemming from a great cross from Kerry Skinner. However, GSA responded with three goals and would take the win, despite Orlando’s probing efforts late in the match.

Regardless of the mixed results, all of the ECNL teams have shown great improvements so early in the season. Keep working hard girls!
