At first I get mad reading some of this crap on here but then I think about the person who continues to vomit their emotional feelings on this site. OC people don't give a thought to all the stuff you continuously put on this website. Time is spent working on soccer, granted obviously, some of our teams need a lot of work still but our time as parents arent taken up with discussions of the crap on here. Our coaches coach, the office is so busy and actually open late, and things have improved drastically from last year. TS is the only avenue that some of you seem to feel comfortable tearing down OC. Things aren't perfect but my family loves it this year. The controversy comes from the people on the outside for the most part and a stupid parent coach internally but that guy needs personal help. I hope everyone finds their happiness without completely wishing for the downfall of others.

now that Orlando City Youth Soccer Club has had a full week to study the situation and gather evidence, has the coach been dismissed? has the Club made any comment, or do they continue to condone the behavior by their silence?

If that is a "Rambo" so be it. 28 yrs in the military tells me I never run away from a fight from bullies. I would have knocked him out, but when I arrived it seemed the other to city dudes were trying to pulling him off, so I tried to help. Either way I showed great and proper restraint.
The ref had no mark on his forehead. Not even a red spot. Speaking of Fat, the coach who outweighed the ref by at least 75 lbs had a bleeding bump above his left eye. The coach was a quite a bit taller. I don't see how that wound would have occurred toe to toe as the coach got in his face. If the headbutt occurred it was from the back of the refs head when he was being choked from behind, or as my son saw it the refs watch as a defensive blow. Bottom line in addition to whatever the league or OC does to him, he got his butt kicked in public by someone half his size.
The cops should have arrested him, but it is my belief he made up this lie about a head butt. Any violence was started by him and witnessed by pretty much all. The cops asked me to give a statement and they relayed to me the coach's claims. Seems like all criminals he lied to keep himself from going to jail. The ref didn't push it as he is apparently the better man.
I haven't insulted anyone here sir. If you have a problem with me or my actions, I can be found at any Rockledge club games, or Rockledge HS games and you know what I look like.

Given the gravity of the incident, it would be highly inappropriate and unprofessional to "share" factual knowledge on an anonymous and public forum regarding any of the actions or consequences in place or pending, particularly regarding the individuals involved.
For now, suffice it to say that all those who need to be informed or involved have been, and continue to address the incident.
as to whether it's "inappropriate and unprofessional" to share the Club's position on this, I think it's ironic considering how "inappropriate and unprofessional" it is to charge the pitch and put a referee into a headlock in full view of a hundred or so people.
I'll be checking FYSA's website to see if the sanctions you mention are reported. I doubt anything at all has been done except brooming things up.

Of course you didnt' see it, the participants' backs were to you and you were on the opposite side of the field. I did see you waddle over the field as fast as your stubby little clubs could carry you and try to interject yourself in the altercation. Just what was needed from a parent trying to start a brawl. You are a disgrace.

Word travels fast, I bet referees are still talking about OCYS coaches.

Once stadium deal is done OC has even less reason to do right by youth club.
Control = power = parents just suck it up and deal with it. MLS baby
My family would rather just go watch a game every once in a while and be treated with more respect along the way.
Good luck

it happened, but to have the club sweep it under the carpet is a smack in every referee's face.
