This was not a paid coach from OCYS, but a Volunteer....he will officially be removed of all duties and never welcomed back.

Obviously the coach is off his rocker and needs to be removed from the team, but come on, the comments about this reflecting on the club as a whole are over the top. You should all learn a little restraint and just hope the same doesn't happen at your club.

He attacked a referee while coaching an OCYS team wearing an OCYS coaches uniform.

OCYS is joke and a sham. Go get into MLS and get out of youth sports, as you are not very good at it.

What stupid comments on this thread. This was awful behavior for any coach, however this coach could be with any club. To say crap about OC because he happened to be a coach there is ridiculous and they absolutely do not allow this type of behavior from their coaches. You people have way to much time on your hands, go worry about the club where your kid plays at.

That isn't making excuses for bad behavior. That is placing responsibility for the bad behavior where it belongs - with the coach. No one is defending the coach. He should be held responsible for his actions. Unless there was something in his past that OCYS knew about or should have known about that indicated that he was likely to do something like this, then OCYS' responsibility for the actions occurring is very limited. I would say the same thing if this had happened at another club.

Your so right I almost forgot. OC takes responsibility for basically nothing bad. If they win then perfect if they lose it's not about winning it's about developing. If a coach chokes a referee wearing an Official Orlando city coaching polo and is a FYSA registered coach with Orlando City well then it's not OC fault. OC takes no responsibility they just want our tax dollars to build a stadium.

If they lose our money and the deal goes bad OC takes no responsibility.

I can see a pattern

That ref was so professional and fair. He was calling both sides and he did not start that physical conflict. It's not a rec league, it's obvious that the kids that play for rockledge had way more skill and talent and some of them are going to play college, that's why they tied a horrible coached team with a man down and no subs. The coach made a fool out of him self trying to kill this amazing, well-trained ref when he got back handed. He's a trashy and a horrible coach from my point of view and he is a cowart.

that's why the OCYS team is ahead of rockledge but they are terrible?
