1) access to practice facilities
2) ticket sales
They embed a season ticket into every club members dues. It is a shell game to boost ticket sales and Buddy, Theresa are falling for it.
I love soccer. But, I am a realist that in the Orlando metro market of 1.3 million people that are not enough soccer fans to sustain a real pro franchise.
Wait for the answer...
4500 the real average attendance at a City game.

Different clubs to bolster age groups but like I said there are a lot of TBU that make the tournament look bigger...FKK and creeks were never coming to OC they are sending plenty of teams. Shame a lot of the older FCA and Rush teams are going over rather than stay local

That is my point pops. I understand your sour attitude toward OCYS. If someone did my kid wrong, I would carry a grudge too. JUST LET IT GO! Those coaches are gone and that situation does not exist any more. OC recognized the problem and took the steps to fix it. You don't see current parents on here complaining do you? Why? Most of the complainers left and took their ball with them. The current parents are involved, the coaches are communicating and the "Directorship" has done a great job curtailing cost.
So let bygones be bygones OK? You and your lot keep living in the past and you are a poor reflection of the current situation in Central Florida youth soccer. Teams are rebuilding, some are aligning and some are disbanding. NEWS FLASH - It has been that way for the past several decades. Change is inevitable.
Good luck to your kid at the next level. We will all be proud to see another CFL player representing.
You act like OCYS fixed problems. Earth to "young buck"...they tried to fix what wasn't broken and they were the cause of all the issues.
A poor reflection? Your club has reflected poorly and we were ashamed to be associated with you last year. Is everything fixed? Maybe but let bygones be bygones is the motto of a person who knows they did bad and need it forgotten.
You bring proud to see my kid representing? Not needed because she doesn't represent central Florida sonny...she represents her family, club, school and herself.
You are a rather smug little one who sounds a lot like how PS acts.

That's not what your coaches are saying....just saying.

"Dear Mayor Jacobs: If a soccer-specific stadium is such a no-brainer investment for our City and Orange County, why do they have to lie about the attendance figures to convince you?"

It seems to me that there are way too many tournaments in Florida that weekend. OC, ACDC, PDA and Bazooka plus others. Maybe they should space some of these out so there is better competition. It's a holiday, but not for most schools, so I don't know why some clubs don't wise up and have theirs a different weekend.
