OCYS is all about the DA supporting the Pro-club. the rest od the youth club is just revenue to support the DA.

DA is on Probation after year # 1 congrats to OC on running such a smooth youth club.

The truth is there's over 70 teams from 11 clubs verbally committed to the tournament. Not all are registered yet- but there's plaenty of confidence that most will.

Not to worry. The kooks in this club also tried convincing USCS to take away ECNL from OCYS but that failed.

These kooks won't stop MLS from coming to Orlando.

no one is trying to stop MLS. Just make sure it's a good deal for our City. OC has pointed the finger at Kraze-Krush for every mistake they have made.

to me OC and OCYS are different entities. I want to see MLS in Orlando but that by itself doesn't guarantee a well run youth soccer club. I think if OC and OCYS plays their hand right this could certainly help them both but at the same time this could also be a huge distraction for OCYS as OCYS leadership must still remain focused on the youth club and not assume that . As a parent who was at OCYS last year and no longer I have to say congratulations to OC as this is a very big accomplishment and I will definately take my children to MLS games if MLS comes to town. But I need to see improvements on the youth side before I even think about coming back. Big news for the community and I only hope that one day we can all come back togehter again and be a true community and stop all this bickering.

Just a crazy notion but I'd of thought if your an MLS team you would support every club rather then just your own club. The Orlando magic build BB gyms around Central Florida for the kids of Central Florida. One would think that OC would support all clubs and help them thrive rather then take over soccer in Central Florida for the registration and self interest.

I'm just saying. Hope MLS works but selfish self interest must NOT prevail

The New York Red Bulls of MLS have around 60/80 Academy kids only. ( Boys Only ) The Red Bulls support soccer in NY but do not try to own every registration for selfish gain.

Google how most Professional clubs work and you will see. NO and I repeat NO MLS team I have found has 8,000 to 10,000 to 12,000 kids involved in their youth club.

In a recent interview someone from OC Pro side mentioned this above fact. I could not find the information when doing my research

They do support other clubs just not fkk. Fkk has been on a negative campaign since the middle of last year. Instead of working to improve the club they were with they worked to tear it apart. Don't give me the I don't know what I am talking about because I was there. I am questioning some of my own thoughts and behavior because as of late I have seen in print some lies concerning things I know are different than portrayed. I am rethinking a lot of what I was told about OC and how certain situations were portrayed.

MLS well thats great I say but it has zero to do with a youth club. These same folks will be long gone as they cash their checks and your left with memories of TV 13 and a mayor wearing a scarf.
