The stunning aspect to me is that you people are so misguided. We are on the verge of true pro soccer in Orlando and control for the locals is in major question so you don't support it. The other Mls clubs have a youth structure. It is one year old and definitely needs to worked on but seriously, I can't believe you are on here moaning and fighting against the "English" run club but can't see the big picture. Mls and their clubs are US academy run clubs. The girls will hav to be improved on and I honestly believe they will be because it is an important part of the youth club. You can't let that go. The academy gives the guidelines and yes OC will add their flavoring as you put it probably purple koolaide but it will be an unbelievable opportunity that we would have never had unless these English guys and Brazilian stepped into Orlando. Are you going to complain when the Brazilian influence comes in? I support the youth club mainly because I see what it could be. We haven't done much as locals and I think if we have a solid direction as a large group of rec- premier being guided, we will produce better players, and probably even better coaches.

It has nothing to do with control. You keep saying it over and over, but the fact is that the people that are running OCYS know nothing about youth soccer and because of that they ran it like they don't know anything about youth soccer. I bet if you do some research, the other teams that you talk about, the pro team is not running the youth club. They may have guidelines about what they want to see to make it successful, but the owner of the club and the coach are not sitting on the BOD. OC people are the ones with control issues. They should have licensed their name to be used and let someone that has run a big club before and knew what they were doing run this one.

Is the pro soccer team gonna be staring profits with me and my friends if not then pay for your dame stadium yourself. Our Central Florida Counties are struggling. Teachers being laid off schools closing and you want money for a stadium. Seminole County is in debt. and you want money for your complex. The fields are fine. If you want them to be greener then dig into your pockets to pay for them don't buy a commissioner with your politics use your dollars to fix the fields. I assume once they are perfectly manicured my little boys who is a very average soccer player will be able to climb all over those fields. Ya right he will be asked to leave for your professional players. Come on Orlando wake UP.....

Don't try to change it all around, had nothing to do with my mouth, my husband etc., I am satisfied . You on the other hand are very angry, try to seek some assistance for that as you are not only embarrassing yourself but your child by your antics.

It seems to me that no one is looking at this from a long term perspective. FKK will be just fine for the short term. Actually on the girls side, their teams are better than what OCYS has playing ECNL because those girls were playing it last year. Don't give me the crap about the records in that tough league. Everyone knows the rising U17 and U18 girls have been the best in CF. Having said that, when those age groups move on, and if, a big if, OCYS retains ECNL, FKK is screwed. The younger generations coming up have not been involved with many of these coaches or any of the drama. OCYS has a huge advantage for the youngsters coming up. But the older age groups right now can care less they are already set. So for the next couple of years, FKK is going to be very solid. As time moves on, they are going to have trouble in my opinion. We will be long gone and club soccer will be an afterthought. I have no allegiance to either club so whatever happens, cheers to you all.
