Boys get the best of OC and Rush. Pretty close to an Orlando All-Star team without the defections from FCA.

I haven't really seen any of the girls side so I can't comment on, but boys teams will be some of the best in the state at OCYS. Last week incredible turnout at DA tryouts and so many talented players. Tonight a lot of very good players, I'm thrilled for my son to be playing here!! Everyone can trash talk all they want but the best players gravitate toward OCYS and the DA. Many of us couldn't care less about all the politics and gossip just want our kids on the best teams. Rush and OC taking boys soccer in the right direction in Central Florida!!!!

Keep your eyes on the U14 group over the next few years. As they mold these teams and work toward developing chemistry, we will get an idea of the success of the OC development system. Anyone can take over a talented U19 team and ride the glory to national prominence. Not one club will be able to claim these U14s. They are coming from all over the area from all different development systems. If you see them rise from the bottom to the top over the next 4-5 years, you should sleep well knowing your kid was on the right development track.

The boys just want to play. The girls' parents want to make sure it's done their way... Whatever that is. I really don't know how you teach ignorant people who don't want to learn so as far as I can tell, it's a vicious cycle that will continue.

OCYS paying for the ECNL's travel is a huge step in the right direction

They are paying for a bus. Sounds great, until you look at the extra time required to use a bus to travel to league games and tournaments. It will result in your daughter having to miss between 5-7 days of school to ride the bus to events.

OC please stop calling. We have had 3 phone calls from OC coaches and directors in the past 2 days trying to get us to come back for try outs. What happened to the 3-4 emails and messages I left you last year asking for some communication and a plan including one to PR. I didn't get return calls or even a courtesy email stating they received my email. Now all of the sudden your trying to negotiate your program like a poker game... Guess what I'm calling your bluff. I'm out!

I was told so many lies about FKK.

No fields, No FYSA passes No coaches, I was even told by CM that FKK would not have enough team socks.

All lies! I bought 10 pairs of socks last night at the tent sales.

Central Winds Park was rocking last night.

Not with either program that is fighting, but you do realize that a lot of girls that made the FPL teams last week were bench warmers and B and C teamers. Not exactly ECNL material there. Better hope some more players come in for North Florida and the Coast.
