The question is - How many players went from DA/ECNL to Purple after OC raided all the local club to benefit themselves.

'Don't develop.....Recruit" should be the club mission statement. Why do you think they employed bad coaches such as SB, SC and JA, because they are good at recruiting!

Why does it matter if they recruit or develop their talent? As long as the talent winds up there at U14 and above is all that matters. Those kids will then be in the DA and get the notoriety and elite status they deserve.

Who cares where they played or came from at the younger ages?

What does any team, anywhere get that is not a DA team? A chance to play some game, play some tournaments, get coached and have some fun with their friends.

The Purple team players also get the prestige of playing at a club that has DA and if they are good enough, maybe a chance to make a DA team. Just because it is not done often doesn't mean it is not possible.

They get to play state cup and a lot of high level tournaments that the DA are not allowed to participate in. They are still playing at a high level, have good coaching, and can continue to develop. They get everything all soccer players got for years before the DA was ever created!

What happened to SAQ? 4 days training? Why cut-down cost savings only for a few teams?

Futsal is fun in the offseason but should not be the focus of your son's playing. Too much futsal will take away from outdoor skills and fitness.

So how is DA doing? Heard numbers are down and u18 and u14 need kids and quality is lower than last year. Wonder why.

Nope will be much better then last year and if you honestly think the quality is down you have never seen the kids play from last year to this year.

Was told u14 was short players at DA as most moved up to 16da. Interest was low.
